The NHL, which has already had to suspend a total of 49 games so far this season, expects to resume the competition next Monday the 27th with the dispute of the five games that had been scheduled for Thursday. In this way, players will rejoin their teams on Sunday to undergo tests and will not be able to access the venues until it is confirmed that they have tested negative.

The decision of the provisional hiatus of the NFL comes after the NHL and the Players Association held more meetings in recent days in which new protocols were agreed for the players and also the revision of the regular season schedule in the wake of the 49 games postponed to date.
