The left-handed hitter has a career .302/.416/.520 offensive line with 331 home runs and 1,065 RBIs. An analysis of Estevan Rivera for SB Nation indicates that the Bronx Mulos could try a trade for him in case they fail to sign free agent Anthony Rizzo and his interest in Matt Olson is unsuccessful.

If the obstacle represented by the complete no-change clause that Votto has is overcome and the conversations between the managements heat up, this movement could be possible.

Prospect Roderick Arias would sign with the Yankees

Roderick Arias, the Latino prospect best considered by the MLB.com team of analysts for 2022, would be one step away from signing with the New York Yankees for a millionaire bonus. The team will allocate much of the $5.1 million it has available to secure its signature.

The 17-year-old infielder is considered a player with outstanding tools for both offense and defense in baseball.

Appointment of Rachel Balkovec will be official this Wednesday

Rachel Balkovec, the woman who will manage one of the Yankees' Class A teams in the minor leagues, will be officially introduced to the position Wednesday by the organization.

Balkovec's appointment was historic and is one more example of how the path to equality in professional sports is being created.

The Pittsburgh Pirates will host an event to collect used baseball items for the benefit of youth from the Dominican Republic and Venezuela next Friday at PNC Park, MLB.com reported.

Clark Ehman, a high school student from South Pittsburgh, was the creator of this initiative, when he decided to collect baseball and softball items to help those most in need in Latin America.

“I had planned for it to be a big event, but I didn't think it would come to this point,” Ehman told Major League Portal. “Everyone was very generous and the Pirates helped out a lot to keep this project going.”

The Pirates will ship the items to the spring resorts in Bradenton, Florida, and from there to Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.
